About the Role:
The candidate will be responsible for selling sponsorship packages, exhibition space, advertisement and digital products across a global portfolio of industry leading conferences, magazines, training courses and media platforms. Each event is developed by a team of conference professionals who ensure our events deliver world class content and offer a commercial platform for industry players in these fast-moving sectors.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Ability to close sales and grow accounts across flagship products, new launches and digital solutions.
- Manage and implement the Sponsorship deliverables according to the contracts.
- Work with the research team to gain a comprehensive understanding of the target audience/prospects for your portfolio of products.
- Work directly with the Researchers and Marketing teams to generate sales leads, follow a sales campaign and strategy, as well as research the market to generate/qualify new leads.
- Attend competitor trade shows and S&P events - international travel required.
- Develop new products, packages and revenue streams.
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Strong, proven seller of high value sponsorship packages. Minimum 4 years sponsorship sales selling B2B, senior level business conferences.
- Clear, demonstrable understanding of the sales process, and able to build and maintain a sales pipeline.
- Hard working and comfortable with a fast pace of work.
- Articulate, intelligent and well presented.
- Experience using sales software such as CRM Systems, Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional languages - Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Japanese.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, Renewables, Chemicals and/or Finance sectors.
