The Team:
S&P Global Market Intelligence (SPGMI) is seeking a Senior Lead to support the Credit Solutions Market Development team, focused on RatingsDirect. RatingsDirect is the flagship desktop platform for S&P Global Ratings\’ credit ratings and related content. RatingsDirect is part of the Credit Solutions product suite, which also includes RatingsXpress and CreditPro.
The Senior Lead will support the head of pricing for Credit Solutions and senior team members as needed, serving the following customer segments: Investment Management, Investment Banking, Insurance, Commercial Banking, and Non-Financial Corporates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the RatingsDirect pricing function. This requires a comprehensive understanding of our pricing and contracting framework, our clients\’ workflows and use cases, as well as the ability to find solutions to business problems.
Responsibilities and Impact:
This position will support the growth of the Credit Solutions business. The Senior Lead will help grow the business through the application of consistent and appropriate pricing as well as drive efficiency in the sales process. Business intelligence projects will identify opportunities for improvement and optimization of value realization as well as surface insights to drive business policy.

  • Drive pricing strategy and implementation for RatingsDirect
  • Manage internal business workflows and streamline processes
  • Support the maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancement of organization\’s systems and applications
  • Facilitate pricing analysis, pricing enhancements and pricing approvals
  • Responsible for documenting and ensuring pricing conforms to the organization\’s objective

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is approximately $124,361 to $180,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an incentive bonus plan.

This position provides the opportunity to work in a critical function of the Credit Solutions business. You will work across business groups including market development, product management, commercial and operations. You will have the ability to surface actionable insights through the analysis of data and leverage technology to improve existing processes.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 10-12+ years experience in the financial services industry
  • Bachelor\’s degree required (preference for background in finance, business, economics or related subject)
  • MBA/Master\’s Degree/CFA preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM databases (preferred 1-2 years relevant experience)
  • Working knowledge of finance, financial markets and our company
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and influence across organizations
  • Strong experience transforming processes and driving operational efficiency
  • Detailed oriented and possesses strong critical thinking skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to synthesize information for presentation to senior management.
