About the Role:
With Intelligence is looking for a high-performing sponsorship sales professional to lead sponsorship sales across our Women’s Events portfolio, including the WPES events held in Europe and APAC. These regional private equity events form part of a global portfolio and are extensions of our flagship Women in Private Equity Summit. The successful candidate will take commercial ownership of the portfolio, driving revenue growth through new sponsor acquisition, account development and strong renewal performance. This is a high-impact, fast-paced and client-facing role. Sponsors include a mix of general partners (GPs) and service providers (SPs), so the role requires a strong understanding of the private equity ecosystem and the different commercial objectives of each audience. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across regions and functions to deliver a consistent global proposition while ensuring that each event is positioned effectively for its local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sponsorship sales across the Women’s Events portfolio, with direct responsibility for the WPES events in Europe and APAC.
- Own and exceed individual and portfolio revenue targets through a balanced focus on new business, renewals, upselling and account growth.
- Develop and execute a structured sales strategy for each event, including target-account planning, pipeline development, sponsor segmentation and conversion tactics.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of GP and SP prospects through proactive outreach, market insight, referrals and cross-portfolio opportunities.
- Manage sponsor relationships throughout the sales cycle, creating tailored solutions that align with each client’s objectives and deliver clear value.
- Strengthen retention and increase spend across existing accounts by developing deeper relationships and identifying relevant upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Position the Europe and APAC WPES events as compelling regional extensions of the flagship Women in Private Equity Summit and the wider global portfolio.
- Collaborate with global sales colleagues to coordinate key accounts, share market intelligence and present a consistent portfolio proposition.
- Maintain a strong understanding of private equity market trends, the competitive landscape and the needs of GP and SP sponsors.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, content, client services and event delivery teams to support audience quality, sponsor experience and overall event performance.
Requirements
- Proven track record as a high-performing sponsorship sales professional, ideally within conferences, events or business information.
- Demonstrable experience of owning and growing an established event portfolio and consistently achieving revenue targets.
- Strong knowledge of the private equity and wider asset management ecosystem, including GP, LP and service provider dynamics.
- Experience selling to both GP and SP sponsors, with the ability to tailor propositions to different client objectives.
- Strong account-management and new-business skills, including prospecting, negotiation, renewal and upselling.
- Commercially strategic, with the ability to create clear portfolio sales plans, prioritise opportunities and maintain accurate forecasts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable collaborating across regions and time zones as part of a global portfolio.
- High energy, resilience and a strong sense of ownership in a target-driven environment.
- Collaborative, adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across functions.
Success in This Role Looks Like
- Revenue targets consistently achieved or exceeded across the Women’s Events portfolio.
- Strong renewal performance, increased sponsor spend and growth in new GP and SP clients.
- Healthy, well-managed pipelines and accurate forecasting across the Europe and APAC WPES events.
- A consistent, compelling global portfolio proposition and a high-quality experience for sponsors.
