The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a critical entry point into our commercial organization and a core component of our centralized Revenue Associate Program. Positioned at the forefront of client engagement and pipeline generation, this role blends hands-on sales experience with structured development, preparing individuals to progress into quota-bearing Sales Specialist roles. SDRs play a critical role in identifying new revenue opportunities, conducting outreach and partnering with Sales Specialists to drive upsell and cross-sell motions. Through proactive outreach, data-driven research, and strategic campaign execution, you will directly contribute to accelerating pipeline growth and expanding client relationships. This role is ideal for candidates who are ambitious, analytically minded, and looking to fast-track their career in sales within a world-leading organization.
Key Responsibilities & Impact
- Upsell & Expansion
- Conduct account analysis to identify growth areas within existing contracts.
- Track customer engagement and usage patterns to uncover scope expansion opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales Specialists to execute targeted upsell initiatives.
- Use Salesforce and PowerBI to identify whitespace within accounts and regions.
- Qualify opportunities through strategic client outreach and needs assessment.
- Launch cross-sell campaigns to introduce new products and data solutions to existing accounts.
- Manage inbound leads and conduct outbound campaigns to drive new business opportunities.
- Qualify prospects, schedule discovery calls, and progress leads through the pipeline.
- Use CRM and sales engagement tools to ensure consistent follow-up, pipeline hygiene, and accurate reporting.
- Shadow live sales cycles across all stages from prospecting to proposal.
- Contribute to demos, proposal creation, and contract execution as skills advance.
- Develop commercial acumen through real-time interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
