About the Role:
The Team: As part of the Distribution team, you will join a very collaborative and professional group. You will understand the team's broader goals and how your work plays a vital role in our success. Here, you will be able to gain broad knowledge within the financial world related to asset classes including Fixed Income, Commodities, and Equities. We value team players who are supportive, collaborative, and actively participate in team discussions.
This is a position as a 1st line of support for the main Feed product of S&P Global Market Intelligence Group, Xpressfeed. It involves learning about each of the data packages that we support, using foundational accounting and finance knowledge alongside SQL and technical skills in order to reply to our clients' questions. You will live the S&P Global purpose and values, seeking connections to your day-to-day work while generating new ideas and thinking outside the box.
The Impact: You will contribute to the team and company in a substantial way by answering client queries while showcasing your growing knowledge of our tools, data and the industry we cover. You will integrate into a group with high expectations and can expect to have a significant impact by producing high-quality output and meeting specific timelines. Your position is critical as it is the link between the end-user and our products. Combining an expertise in our products with a deep understanding of who our clients are and how they use our tools, you will act as a consultant providing the best and most efficient ways for our clients to achieve quality results. You will also take the initiative to provide support to the team and pay close attention to detail to identify potential issues early.
