About the Role: We are seeking passionate and career-minded interns to broaden our pipeline of talent and cultivate future leaders. We are seeking motivated and intellectually curious legal interns who are eager to build foundational skills and contribute meaningfully to the work of a global legal team. As a Legal Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn from seasoned attorneys across S&P Global, gain hands-on experience with real legal matters, and deepen your understanding of how a sophisticated in-house legal department supports business strategy and mitigates risk. The Team: The Legal Intern will be a member of S&P Global's corporate and business division legal teams, which partner with commercial, product and business stakeholders by providing practical legal advice to mitigate risk, drive enterprise goals and advance key strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Conduct legal research and assist in drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents.
- Support the legal team in reviewing and interpreting laws, regulations, and case law relevant to S&P Global.
- Assist with due diligence efforts for transactions and projects.
- Assist with any other legal matters or projects.
- Participate in meetings with in-house counsel and business stakeholders as needed.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate law student in the penultimate year of study LLB.
- Strong record of high academic achievement with an interest in corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills.
- Intellectual curiosity with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage deadlines effectively.
- Foundational understanding of AI concepts and enthusiasm for exploring how legal-tech and AI tools can support attorneys by accelerating research, enhancing drafting, improving knowledge management, and reducing manual workload.
- Interest in developing practical awareness of how AI can be applied within a modern in-house legal department.
- Candidates must be fully available to work in a hybrid role in London for the duration of the internship June 15th to August 21st 2026.

- Familiarity with financial services, data analytics, or technology industries is a plus.
