As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Relationship Manager Team Lead to lead and develop a team focused on building relationships with industry participants and supporting the growth of our data business. We are seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Team Lead to support and develop a team of Data Relationship Managers. This role is ideal for candidates with some leadership, mentoring, coaching, or deputy team lead experience who are looking to take the next step in their people management career while remaining actively involved in stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Asset Managers TeamFocuses on building relationships with fund managers and alternative investment managers who contribute data and market intelligence. Asset Owners TeamFocuses on building relationships with asset owners, institutional investors, and allocators who participate as data partners. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop a team of Data Relationship Managers. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and development discussions. Provide ongoing coaching to improve communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Stakeholder & Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with key data partners and industry stakeholders. Champion best practices in stakeholder communication and relationship management. Monitor team performance, engagement metrics, and operational effectiveness. Ensure accurate maintenance of CRM records, reporting, and data quality standards. Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities and implement solutions where appropriate. Data Acquisition & Business GrowthSupport initiatives to grow and strengthen participation across our data products. Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities to enhance data coverage and market engagement. Help drive the successful onboarding and retention of data partners. Contribute to the development of outreach strategies and engagement plans. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with teams across Data, Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Events, and Operations. Leverage technology, automation, and data-driven insights to enhance operational performance. What We're Looking ForExperienceExperience leading, mentoring, or coaching a team in a relationship management, client services, customer success, account management, business development, or similar environment. Proven ability to drive performance and improve team effectiveness. Experience within financial services, data, information services, or a related industry is desirable. Leadership SkillsExperience coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues to achieve their goals. Commercial & Strategic MindsetAbility to balance operational delivery with longer-term strategic objectives. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of stakeholder engagement. Data-driven approach to decision-making and performance improvement. Technical SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Experience using CRM systems and reporting tools. Work with leading firms and professionals across the asset management industry.
