Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, testing, and maintaining data pipelines using Python.
• Work with databases to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data.
• Support data processing and analytics workflows in Databricks.
• Support AI/ML initiatives by designing efficient data pipelines, feature stores, and data validation processes.
• Help clean, validate, and optimize large datasets for reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Document data processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data quality or pipeline issues under supervision.

Technical Qualifications:

• You must be able to commence your internship from the 15th June until the 21st August 2026.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, ideally in your penultimate year.
• Basic to intermediate Python programming skills.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with data structures, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a collaborative environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred) is a plus.
• You must have the right to work in the UK through UK citizenship or approved EU Settlement Scheme.
