The Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) team, a vital component of S&P Global Market Intelligence, delivers enterprise-grade risk analytics solutions to global financial institutions, encompassing market risk, counterparty credit risk, xVA, liquidity risk, and advanced analytics workflows. This dynamic team is undergoing significant strategic expansion, with a sharp focus on cultivating robust enterprise client relationships, innovating integrated analytics platforms, driving cloud-native transformation, and fostering cross-divisional collaboration across S&P Global. The successful candidate will join a global team operating within a matrix organization, where success hinges on strong influence, coordination, and partnership across Sales, Product, Technology, and senior business leadership teams.
Responsibilities and Impact
- Strategically define and execute FRA’s global Go-To-Market strategy, aligning with broader S&P Global objectives to drive significant revenue growth and market expansion across key segments.
- Lead, develop, and empower a global team focused on business development, strategic client engagement, and effective Go-To-Market execution, fostering high performance within a matrixed organization.
- Cultivate and strengthen senior executive relationships with C-level stakeholders (CROs, CIOs, Heads of Risk), driving strategic business development and complex, multi-product enterprise opportunities.
- Act as the influential voice of the market, both internally and externally, by translating client demand and competitive dynamics into product strategy, and representing FRA at high-profile industry forums.
- Drive cross-divisional collaboration across S&P Global businesses to identify white-space opportunities, generate cross-sell initiatives, and position integrated solutions effectively.
- Champion the commercialization of new products and strategic initiatives, ensuring market alignment and strong value proposition articulation to accelerate adoption and market leadership.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 15+ years of experience within risk management, capital markets, or financial technology environments, with strong expertise in sell-side or buy-side financial institutions.
- Proven ability to lead global teams within complex matrix organizations and engage credibly with C-level stakeholders and senior risk executives.
- Demonstrated strong commercial acumen, strategic business development capabilities, and the ability to influence product strategy and roadmap direction through a deep understanding of market needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills, showcasing strong executive presence and charisma.
- We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
