We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Account Manager to join our Commercial team, dedicated to managing and growing relationships with corporate clients outside of the financial services sector, including Corporates, Professional Services, Governments, and Academia. The team is collaborative, commercially minded, and focused on helping clients realize value from S&P Global’s data, analytics, and workflow solutions while supporting one another to deliver high-quality outcomes.
The Impact:
This role plays a key part in retaining existing business, ensuring high engagement and utilization of S&P Global solutions, identifying growth opportunities within accounts, and aligning client needs with our expanding portfolio of data, analytics, and workflow tools. You will be expected to understand how your day-to-day work connects to team priorities, take accountability for defined account outcomes, deliver quality work within agreed timelines, and proactively identify issues or opportunities that improve the client experience.

Responsibilities:
Build and deepen strategic relationships with key stakeholders across assigned corporate accounts, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and the main point of contact for S&P Global.
Drive high usage and engagement of existing solutions by understanding client workflows and ensuring products are effectively embedded in day-to-day operations.
Proactively identify client challenges and evolving needs, using a consultative approach to recommend relevant S&P Global solutions that add value and drive revenue growth.
Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Solutions Specialists, Marketing, and other stakeholders, to bring the best of S&P Global to the client through custom demos, training, and strategic planning sessions.
Stay current on industry trends, corporate use cases, and the full suite of S&P Global Market Intelligence solutions, using curiosity and market awareness to identify where our offerings can support client objectives across areas such as sustainability, supply chain, credit risk, and workflow efficiency.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to support retention and growth, maintain accurate forecasting, and report regularly on account health, risk, and opportunity pipelines, while paying close attention to detail, managing priorities effectively, and meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of experience in account management, business development, or customer success — preferably with corporate clients in non-financial sectors.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree a plus.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and manage complex accounts.
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take an end-to-end view of client challenges and apply practical solutions within clear guidelines.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities, including the ability to clearly explain client needs, solution value, and account priorities to a range of internal and external audiences.
Collaborative and adaptable working style, with the ability to actively listen, contribute to team goals, support colleagues, and remain solution-oriented when priorities or client needs change.
We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with data platforms, analytics tools, or SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.
English language for day-to-day utilization in communication with colleagues and clients. Additional languages are a plus.
