About the Role:

The Team:

S&P is seeking an experienced and motivated CLO Compliance Services Specialist to support the growth within the EMEA Compliance Services group. The individual will be responsible for designated client funds covered by the Compliance Services outsourcing platform, working together with a team of associates and partnering with other S&P Global business lines around client resolution and satisfaction.

The Impact:

The Compliance Services platform is experiencing significant organic growth in business from existing clients and targeting to bring on additional business from new sales together with offering new service lines to our existing and new client base. Given the specialized aspect to the service subject matter knowledge on WSO data processing and CLOs is critical to delivering premium support.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ongoing transaction deliverables including Waterfalls and Investor Reports.
  • Read, review and interpret trust indentures with regard to reporting requirements and create technical report specifications from indenture language.
  • Set up payment calculations in a variety of in-house systems.
  • Receive, map and reconcile periodic collateral data.
  • Assist the team with general queries, system and client issues sharing expert knowledge.
  • Review cash collection, payment, and reserve accounts to ensure activity and transactions are processed properly.
  • Manage inquiries regarding collateral attributes and transactions, facilitate the workflow and timely resolution between internal groups.
  • Become the day-to-day point of contact for both clients and trustees.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience.
  • Accounting / Finance Major preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs).
  • Ability to calculate various portfolio statistics, ratios and thresholds for use in periodic reporting.
  • Ability to identify and effectively resolve exceptions and to interpret data.
  • Experience in running Waterfall projections.
  • Experience with Wall Street Office Product Suite - preferred.
  • Strong PC skills - Microsoft Office Products.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Market awareness.

  • Customer relations experience.
