About the Role:
The Team: We are seeking a dynamic and analytical individual to join our expanding Commercial Finance team. The team sits within our Finance division, working closely with colleagues across the global business. In this role, you will be responsible for optimising our revenue operations processes, working closely with Sales, Commercial teams as well as our partners within Finance. You will be accountable for driving data-driven decision-making to enhance our ability to measure our overall commercial performance. You will be a key point person to support the Sales team with their process to enable a successful order to cash workflow.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Process Optimisation: Assist to develop and implement efficient processes on "quote to cash" workflow including sales forecasting and pipeline management to maximise revenue growth.
- BAU: run team BAU tasks such as monitoring new opportunity creation, renewals, tracking of KPIs.
- Data Analysis & Performance Tracking: Analyse sales data and metrics to identify trends, forecast revenue, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, commercial and finance teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and strategies.
- Technology Management: Manage and optimise the use of SalesForce and other sales and finance tools to enhance productivity and data accuracy.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to the sales team on best practices, procedural guides and tools to improve performance.
- Control Function: Act as a control functional for OSTTRA, implementing data governance policies, conducting regular reviews and resolving issues.
What We're Looking For:
- Basic Required Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or relevant work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sales/Revenue Operations, or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales enablement tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Ability to engage with a broad group of stakeholders including the senior leadership team.
- An ability to work independently in completing assigned duties; managing competing priorities for multiple stakeholders.
- Well developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- An ability to quickly gain a thorough knowledge of the business.
