About The Role
The S&P Global Energy Commercial and CX Graduate Program starts with an intensive 5‑week onboarding in our London office. Following the onboarding, you will spend three months with the EMEA Customer Success Team, building a foundational knowledge of commodity markets and developing essential business skills while learning about S&P Global Energy data, research, and analytical products.
Across the program you will rotate through Customer Success, Sales, Channel Management, and Marketing functions, completing certification milestones and a rigorous evaluation process. You will support the sales team, generate additional revenue, and contribute to S&P Global Energy’s mission of delivering high‑quality price assessments and analytical information worldwide.

Responsibilities
- Help clients navigate and extract useful data from the S&P Global Energy product range.
- Liaise with content, commercial, and technical teams to address client queries and maintain high data standards.
- Proactively reach out to clients for face‑to‑face or virtual training (once fully fluent and certified).
- Conduct research on key energy and commodity market issues and present findings to colleagues.
- Support sales teams with research and proposals.
- Build account overviews and plans to support strategic sales teams.
- Design data‑driven models and templates for clients.
- Create marketing materials for commercial culture initiatives and future graduate cohorts.
- Engage in special project initiatives as determined necessary by management.
Requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Familiarity with or strong interest in learning about commodity markets.
- Fully matriculated students in a BSc or BA degree, or equivalent (postgraduate/Master’s acceptable).
- Availability to join a new‐hire class in late February 2026.
- Preferred concentration in Commercial, Business, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or related Energy/Commodity disciplines.
- Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills; capable of speaking to diverse clients.
- Proficiency in Generative AI technologies and ability to leverage these tools for innovative solutions.
- Excellent presentation and telephone manners; comfortable presenting to large groups in person and remotely.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to multi‑task, work independently, and remain willing to learn and take on varied tasks.
- Quick learner capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Understanding of building strong relationships and partnering with team members.
- Problem‑solving, time‑management, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
