The Project Manager – IT Audit Coordination supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT audit activities across technology teams. The role focuses on audit logistics, tracking actions, maintaining evidence, and ensuring timely responses to internal and external audit requests. This is a delivery‑support role working closely with IT, Security, Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure audits are well‑managed and outcomes are clearly documented.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics for IT audits, including scheduling, tracking requests, and managing timelines.
  • Act as a central point of contact between IT teams, auditors, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Track audit deliverables, evidence requests, and responses to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support preparation for internal, external, regulatory, and SOX‑related IT audits.
  • Support audit‑related initiatives as small projects, ensuring tasks, risks, and dependencies are documented.
  • Assist in defining audit milestones, key dates, and communication plans.
  • Escalate risks, delays, or blockers to senior project managers or audit leads.
  • Maintain audit evidence repositories and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible.
  • Document decisions, actions, and lessons learned to support audit traceability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3‑5 years’ experience in project coordination, PMO, IT operations, audit support, or risk/compliance environments.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Confidence working with spreadsheets, trackers, and documentation repositories.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
