About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and cross-functional internal teams, driving seamless communication and project execution.
- Lead all phases of project management: definition, planning, tracking, execution, and control, with a focus on transparency and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients at all organizational levels, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Facilitate project and executive steering committee meetings to align stakeholders and drive strategic outcomes.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Management Office, leveraging best practices and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve escalated issues efficiently and transparently, focusing on root-cause resolution.
- Provide timely, clear status updates and ensure rapid resolution of project-related matters.
- Support migration and upgrade projects, including transitions to cloud-hosted environments (e.g., AWS), ensuring robust planning and risk mitigation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of full-cycle project management experience, ideally in financial services or fintech.
- Proven success delivering complex, enterprise-level projects, preferably with the Wall Street Office (WSO) product suite.
- Skilled in managing competing priorities and adapting to dynamic project needs.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
- Exceptional client engagement, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Strong business acumen, project governance, and commercial awareness.
- Strategic influencer with sound decision-making and leadership capabilities.
- Resilient and effective under pressure in high-availability production environments.
- Exposure to software development, application support, and cloud migration projects.
- Experience in issue triage, troubleshooting, and escalation management preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Lean) and tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet) is a plus.
