The EMEA Partnership Retreats is a membership offering senior asset‑management business development teams a unique, multi‑faceted opportunity to connect, engage and learn with decision makers from leading institutions and their consultants. Since launching in 2024, our European and Middle East Partnership Retreats have become a highly successful and valuable part of our global portfolio. We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to focus on new business generation across our EMEA Partnership Retreats portfolio. This role will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new asset manager partners and selling a high‑value membership designed to directly support asset managers' fundraising efforts.
New Business Development
- Proactively identify and target new asset manager clients
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective partners, leveraging an in‑house CRM system
- Own the full sales cycle from outreach through to close
Revenue Generation
- Personally deliver against ambitious revenue and contract targets
- Drive partnership sales and manage a large pipeline through an extended sales cycle
- Attend in‑person retreats to network and drive onsite engagement and opportunities
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting using CRM systems
- Provide regular updates to leadership on progress and performance
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Client Services to ensure a high‑quality client experience and strong retention
- Partner with IR and events teams to ensure high‑quality execution and event delivery
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and go‑to‑market strategy
Market Engagement
- Represent With Intelligence at industry events and meetings
- Build market presence and contribute to brand visibility within the institutional space
Qualifications
- 3‑6 years' experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or event sales
- Proven track record of new business generation and consistently exceeding revenue targets
- Experience working with or selling into Asset Managers
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
- High level of motivation, resilience, and personal accountability
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and events
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
