About the Role:

Part of automotiveMastermind’s success is attributed to our unique culture. The Dealer Relations Representative will embody this philosophy and act as the bridge between automotiveMastermind and our dealer partners. This position focuses on Retention and Account Management, building strong relationships, solving problems, and working closely with dealers to understand their needs. This role requires collaboration within the team and with different teams, attention to detail, professionalism, and confidence in working directly with owners and upper management of our dealer partners.

A Successful Dealer Relations Representative Will:

  • Be responsible for Virtual Support of our Incentive Advantage and Remote-Supported Products for a portfolio of dealerships throughout the United States.
  • Conduct monthly KDM Meetings to review ROI, marketing settings, and discounts.
  • Execute launch planning, manage product implementation, and deliver initial and ongoing training through regular monthly performance visits.
  • Be the first point of contact for our Dealer Partners, handle issues, and follow up on escalated matters.
  • Bring best practice knowledge of the product into the client organization to support the company’s value proposition to its dealerships.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of product functionality and related services as well as an overview of the technical functionality to train effectively.
  • Serve multiple markets and report to the Senior Director, Commercial Operations.
  • Participate in team meetings, best practices (playbooks), and overall skill development exercises.

Who You Are:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales or account management with a background in automotive retail.
  • Significant experience with CRM tools and comfort with technology.
  • Ability to think quickly and handle ambiguity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrating business and financial acumen.
  • Able to establish rapport and develop meaningful relationships with clients.
  • Effective negotiation skills, finding win-win solutions.
  • Proactively solicit feedback, ask clarifying questions, and resolve issues non-confrontationally.
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team and independently to schedule and prioritize work.
  • Regularly assess personal performance and adapt work to achieve better results.

Where You Will Be:

This position is based in our London, ON office. We work a hybrid schedule with a current minimum of two team-wide designated days in the office.
