We help investment professionals make informed decisions through comprehensive data, market intelligence and research across the institutional investment landscape.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Data Operations Manager to lead the delivery and ongoing development of our Wealth database, covering Single Family Offices, Multi-Family Offices, Private Banks, and Wealth Managers.

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for managing research operations, driving productivity and database coverage, and ensuring the team delivers timely, accurate and commercially valuable intelligence.

Leading Team Leaders and Researchers across both the UK and the Philippines, you will play a key role in developing people, improving operational processes and ensuring the successful execution of our research strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people manager who enjoys leading international teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and Researchers across the UK and the Philippines, creating a high-performing and collaborative culture.
  • Take ownership of the operational delivery of the Wealth database, ensuring research output meets business priorities, coverage goals and agreed service levels.
  • Manage resource planning, workload allocation and capacity across multiple teams to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor team performance through KPIs and operational metrics, identifying trends and implementing improvements where required.
  • Work closely with Product, Technology, Sales and Editorial teams to align research priorities with customer and business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance research workflows, operational efficiency and database coverage.
  • Support the development and implementation of new research methodologies, tools and processes to improve scalability and consistency.
  • Provide regular reporting and operational updates to senior stakeholders on team performance, delivery against objectives and key business initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of coaching, accountability and continuous learning, supporting career development across the team.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between geographically distributed teams, promoting knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing operational research or data teams within a business intelligence, financial data or information services environment.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management industry, with knowledge of family offices or institutional investors being highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable experience leading managers or Team Leaders and developing high-performing teams across multiple locations.
  • Excellent organisational and operational management skills, with experience balancing competing priorities and delivering against business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience using performance metrics to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments and influence decision-making.
  • Experience managing remote or international teams is highly desirable.
  • A proactive, adaptable and collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing people and improving operational performance.
