The Associate Director, Adobe Real-Time CDP Product Management is part of the Martech function within the Enterprise Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Director of Marketing Data Enablement & Automation. This is a business-facing role embedded in the Marketing organization, and requires close coordination with Corporate Technology counterparts who oversee Martech, Automation, Analytics, Data Architecture, Integrations, and Governance. The CDP product lead partners with campaign teams, analytics, data ops, and IT to operationalize audience-centric marketing through Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), ensuring a unified customer view and activating data across channels.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, roadmap, and hands-on implementation of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Real-Time CDP.
- Develop a Center of Excellence for solution design and business consultation to marketing users and IT stakeholders and a Shared Services strategy to guide implementation of CDP features and integrations.
- Manage CDP architecture, administration, and data governance linked to the Marketing Data Framework.
- Translate business needs into CDP use cases, leading the system-wide development of the Ideal Customer Profile.
- Partner with BI Engineers following the marketing data framework to develop ingress and egress data pipelines to/from CDP.
- Drive data orchestration from the CDP platform to personalize experiences across marketing channels (emails, website, paid media).
- Guide and support audience segmentation, identity resolution, and journey orchestration.
- Collaborate with privacy and compliance teams to ensure proper handling of PII and data policies.
- Monitor KPIs related to product adoption, product ROI, customer segment performance, coverage, and orchestration quality.
- Strategic Ownership: Lead the enterprise roadmap for Adobe Real-Time CDP as the system of record for audience segmentation.
- Operating Model: Lead the thinking on customer data by building a Center of Excellence and operationalize via Shared Services.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Partner with teams across marketing, data science, and IT to activate high-impact use cases.
- Tech-Driven Impact: Operationalize data architecture and integrations that enable AI, personalization, and measurement.
- Innovation Platform: Help shape the next-generation marketing stack built on first-party data and advanced analytics.
- Enterprise Visibility: Directly influence how S&P Global uses customer data to drive pipeline, personalization, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data management, Martech, or enterprise marketing technology.
- 3+ years directly working with Adobe RTCDP or equivalent CDPs.
- Strong experience with data cleansing, structuring, modeling, identity resolution, and segmentation logic.
- Demonstrated expertise in ETL workflows, APIs, and real-time data syncs.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the Adobe Suite (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, Adobe Marketo, Adobe Target).
- Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, JSON, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of customer lifecycle and how data supports cross-channel engagement.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to marketing and business stakeholders.
- Adobe certifications related to AEP/CDP preferred.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and real-time integration patterns.
- Familiarity with commercial analytics, Salesforce ecosystem a plus.
- Prior experience with data clean rooms, privacy policy frameworks, or GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Background in agile product development or digital transformation projects.
