About the Role
The Team: Our Market Intelligence Commercial team is focused on managing and growing relationships with corporate clients outside of the financial services sector, including Corporates, Professional Services, Governments, and Academia. We are a collaborative, client-focused team that values commercial curiosity, accountability, operational excellence, and a shared commitment to connecting our day-to-day work with S&P Global’s broader purpose and strategy.
The Impact: As an Account Manager, Corporate Clients — Non-Financial Segments, you will play a key role in retaining existing business, increasing client engagement and utilization of S&P Global solutions, and identifying growth opportunities across your assigned accounts. You will help clients connect their business needs with our expanding portfolio of data, analytics, and workflow tools, positioning S&P Global as a trusted partner that supports better decisions and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities:
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with key stakeholders across assigned corporate accounts, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and the main point of contact for S&P Global.
- Proactively identify client challenges and evolving needs, using a consultative approach to recommend relevant S&P Global solutions that add value and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to support retention and growth, maintain accurate forecasting, and report regularly on account health, risk, and opportunity pipelines.
- Monitor client engagement, usage patterns, risks, and opportunities to support proactive retention planning and ensure clients are realizing value from S&P Global solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across Commercial, Product, Client Services, and other teams to resolve client needs, share relevant insights, and deliver a consistent client experience.
- Manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality work is delivered within agreed timelines and aligned to account objectives.
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in account management, business development, or customer success—preferably with corporate clients in non-financial sectors.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence senior stakeholders, and manage complex accounts.
- Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to actively listen, understand different perspectives, and work collaboratively to achieve shared goals with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret, clarify, and convey complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, identify practical solutions, and take initiative to improve existing approaches or processes.
- Ability to attend at least one in-person interview (in your nearest S&P Global office) before proceeding to an offer.

- Experience working with data, analytics, workflow, or SaaS-based solutions in a corporate client environment.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a coach to others by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and supporting team effectiveness.
