Large-Scale Live Events | High-Volume Venue Environment
The Role: You’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operational delivery across a high‑capacity venue, ensuring each event is safe, seamless, and executed to an exceptional standard. The role balances strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership — driving operational readiness, championing safety, and adapting to late changes without hesitation. You’ll influence how the venue operates as it evolves, leading improvements, shaping processes, and ensuring operational teams stay aligned and fully prepared.
About You:
- Strong experience working within arenas, stadiums, or major live event environments (essential).
- Solid grounding in change management and project delivery across multi‑team settings.
- Confident understanding of the operational landscape — from crowd flow and event build to staging, rigging and show‑day logistics — without needing to be the technical expert.
- A leadership style that is assertive, composed, self‑sufficient, and not afraid to challenge.
- Someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, and can take ownership without extensive onboarding.
- Ambition to grow into broader leadership as the venue and business continue to scale.
Preferred certifications: NEBOSH General Certificate, MBQ4/MBQ5 in Crowd Management.
