SP Executive Search is working with a hospitality and venue-driven organisation operating across a large, complex, multi-site estate to appoint an FM & Group Projects Director. This is a true dual-role leadership position, combining strategic facilities management oversight with responsibility for delivering major group-wide capital and transformation projects within a live, customer-facing environment.
The Role: A senior, dual-focus position responsible for safeguarding and evolving a complex estate while driving significant capital programmes. You will sit at the centre of operational delivery, owning FM performance while translating long-term strategy into action across facilities, assets and major projects. This is a role for someone who owns outcomes, not tasks.
What you will do:
- Own and drive FM performance across a diverse, multi-building estate
- Hold third-party suppliers and delivery partners to account on cost, quality and timelines
- Lead major capital and estate projects from strategy through to delivery
- Manage governance, budgets, risk and momentum across live environments
- Ensure projects move at pace without drift, cost escalation or loss of control
About you:
- Proven experience operating across both capital projects and FM within large, complex estates
- Background in hospitality, venues, stadiums, arenas or other live, event-led environments
- Senior credibility operating at Director or senior Head of level
- A strong generalist leader with credible technical understanding
- Commercial, decisive and delivery-focused
- Comfortable working in fluid, high-profile environments where operations and projects run in parallel
High-potential candidates stepping up into director-level roles will be considered where capability, judgement and pace are evident. This is not a hands-on FM role. This is not a consultancy position. This is about ownership, accountability and delivery.
