SP Executive Search is proud to be partnering with a growing pub group to recruit an experienced Area Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity for a commercially driven, people-focused leader to oversee a portfolio of well-loved pubs offering great food, a warm welcome, and quality accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, support, and develop Pub Managers and their teams to deliver consistently high standards across food, drink, service, and letting rooms
Drive sales growth, profitability, and a positive guest experience across all locations
Maintain high operational standards while keeping the heart and individuality of each pub
Implement commercial strategies, local marketing initiatives, and effective cost control
Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and brand standards
Review P&L reports and make commercially sound decisions to drive performance
Foster a collaborative, guest-first culture across the portfolio
What We\’re Looking For:
Proven multi-site management experience within pubs, inns, or hospitality businesses with letting rooms
Experience with sites operating food i.e. health & safety prerequisites, inspections, audits, preparation, chef & teams etc
Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing people and teams
A customer-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on service and standards
Sound commercial acumen with experience in growing sales and managing costs
Financially confident, with the ability to interpret P&L reports and drive profitability
A hands‐on, visible leader who enjoys working closely with site teams
