A Fantastic Opportunity: Business Liaison Officer
To liaise with the wider business and contractors to obtain as-laid field drawings within target timescales. To quality check those drawings for progression and to work with the business to address any initial quality issues. You will maintain our tracking system to reflect true position of ongoing work and provide an audit trail. The role is crucial to providing accurate data quality across our key systems and will include ability to analyse data and produce statistics as required to monitor receipt of as-laid drawings.
What We’re Looking For
- Knowledge or experience with geographic mapping systems and/or electricity network diagrams
- Understanding of electricity symbology standards and network connectivity within electricity distribution
- Familiarity with core company systems is beneficial (training can be provided)
- Ability to use AutoCAD is an advantage but not essential
- Proactive and results-focused, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interpret and prioritise a range of business needs
- Able to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels — in person, by email or by phone
