About the Role

In a growing market place, we provide commercial and contractual support to works relating to programmes of works, projects or faults, ensuring compliance with agreed contractual arrangements, statutory obligations and commercial best practice, and maintaining strong commercial controls. The successful candidate must, at the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Proven experience successfully carrying out duties in a Quantity Surveying capacity
  • Extensive experience in contractor management and contract negotiation, including a solid understanding of claims resolution
  • Capable of managing and resolving valuation and additional cost claims to final account
  • Proficient in contract administration and management
  • Able to prioritise workload and deal with high volumes
  • Cost and value construction project reporting, project management accounts, cost control and forecasting experience, including creating budgets, first‑principles estimating and measurement
  • Experience in managing low‑value, high‑volume as well as high‑value, multi‑disciplined projects frameworks (advantageous)
  • Proven numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Clear, concise, and effective communicator
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proficient with MS software, particularly Excel
