As the successful candidate, you must live within a 30 minute drive of CA2.
A Fantastic Opportunity:
As HGV Driver you will drive a variety of vehicles which require an HGV Licence, load and unload vehicles using a vehicle mounted crane or forklift as required, and secure load for transit. You will also operate plant on site as required and in line with individual training and authorisation. You will also have the opportunity to assist Overhead Line Workers with the inspection, maintenance, repair and construction of the overhead electricity supply network. The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.
What We’re Looking For:
- HGV (C+E) clean licence
- Valid CPC card
- Plant operating experience
- Route planning experience
- Experience carrying out vehicle checks
- Load handling experience
- Experience maintaining logbooks
- Be willing to work outdoors in all weathers
- Be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Flexible and prepared to work some antisocial hours
- Ability to complete required paperwork promptly and accurately
