A Fantastic Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor

In a growing market place, to maintain strong commercial controls by providing commercial and contractual support to Works whether relating to programmes of works, projects or faults by ensuring compliance with agreed contractual arrangements, statutory obligations and commercial best practice.

The successful candidate must, at the start of employment have permission to work in the UK without sponsorship.

What we’re looking for

We welcome applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences who meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelors Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Proven experience successfully carrying out duties in a Quantity Surveying capacity;
  • Extensive experience in contractor management and contract negotiation including a solid understanding of claims resolution;
  • Capable of managing and resolving valuation and additional cost claims to final account;
  • Proficient in contract administration and management
  • Able to prioritise workload and deal with high volumes
  • Cost and value construction project reporting, project management accounts, cost control and forecasting experience including creating budgets, first principles estimating and measurement;
  • Experience in the management of low value, high volume in addition to high value, multi-disciplined projects frameworks advantageous;
  • Proven numerical skills with excellent attention to detail;
  • Clear, concise, and effective communicator
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Proficient with MS software, particularly Excel.
