SP Recruitment is seeking to recruit dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses (RGN) to join our healthcare team in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and provide support to families.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Responsible for the assessments of care needs and the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care.
  • Carry out all relevant forms of care.
  • Take responsibility for patients as delegated by Registered Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • NMC Registration
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
  • Some evidence of post-registration training

Experience:

  • Qualified nursing experience working in a nursing home
  • Evidence of good practice
  • Teaching and mentoring junior staff

Skills:

  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work under supervision
  • Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients

Personal Qualities:

  • Motivated
  • Enthusiastic
  • Able to relate well with people/team

Special Knowledge:

  • Up to date with current nursing issues
  • Health promotion and illness prevention
