We're looking for an AI Solutions Project Manager to lead the delivery of AI projects for our clients, from initial discovery through deployment. You'll sit at the intersection of business problems and AI capabilities, translating client needs into scoped, achievable solutions and shepherding them across the line with our AI development team. This role is equal parts client-facing strategist and internal delivery lead.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead solution discovery sessions with clients to uncover business problems, map workflows, identify high-value AI use cases, and define success criteria.
  • Facilitate workshops with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Translate ambiguous business needs into clear project scopes, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery across discovery, design, build, and deployment phases — owning timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Liaise between the client and the SOZO AI development team, keeping work aligned, dependencies clear, and blockers resolved.
  • Own the client relationship during delivery: run status updates, manage expectations, escalate issues, and surface opportunities to expand scope.
  • Communicate AI concepts accessibly to non-technical audiences — explaining what's possible, what isn't, and what the trade-offs are.
  • Capture learnings and contribute to internal playbooks, templates, and delivery standards.

What You'll Bring:

  • 4+ years of project or program management experience, ideally on technology or data projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client-facing discovery, requirements gathering, or solutioning sessions.
  • Working understanding of how AI and machine learning systems are built and deployed.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have:

  • Background in consulting, a delivery role at a SaaS/AI company, or a technical role you've moved out of.
  • Experience with LLM-based products, RAG, or agentic systems.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum certifications.

How You Work:

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure to it.
  • You ask good questions before jumping to answers.
  • You're calm under pressure, candid with clients and colleagues, and genuinely curious about how AI can be applied well - and where it shouldn't be.

What’s it like to work for us:

  • B Corp accredited
  • Innovative, cutting edge, forward-thinking
  • High standards and great pride in our work and reputation
  • Collaborative and happy to share knowledge and help each other
  • Open to constructive criticism
  • Positive working environment
  • Environmentally friendly
  • Opportunities to train and develop, go to conferences and share your knowledge with others
  • Proactive career development
  • Collaborative and supportive environment
  • Regular social events
  • Importance of work life balance
  • Approachable Management Team

We like to reward our staff generously and fairly. Salary up to £35,000 – 45,000 per annum, depending on experience and level. Plus pension scheme, bonus and generous holiday.

Rewards include:

  • A highly competitive basic salary (with potential for an annual pay rise subject to meeting performance targets).
  • Annual staff bonus after a qualifying period.
  • Option to work from home/remotely for 2-3 days per week.
  • Spacious offices within a sought-after area of Cheltenham (Tivoli).
  • A relaxed creative atmosphere.
  • Collaborative culture.
  • Personal development and training is encouraged.
  • Yearly personal development plan.
  • Personal volunteering allowance of 2 days per annum.
  • Christmas and summer staff parties, as well as ad hoc lunches and team socials.

If you consider yourself to be a strong candidate for this role, and are looking for the next progression in your career to develop your knowledge and skills, then we’d love to hear from you.
