Company Description

Sownd Affects is the company behind the world's first Audio Inclusivity Certification Standard - the industry's only live certification for how spaces sound. Around 60% of adults are noise sensitive, yet almost no spaces are designed with that in mind. A Sownd Certified space is one where people can hear, converse and connect comfortably - and stay longer. Everyone benefits, starting with the noise sensitive.

After 8 years of R your job is to deliver and close. You'll close what the founder and partners open - capturing and converting every introduction, event, talk and webinar audience into certified spaces - and build the funnels, lead generation and conversion systems behind that. You'll activate and deepen our partner network, including the specifiers who add certification to their client projects, open new markets, and own marketing end to end: demand generation, content, brand, PR and events. Pricing, pipeline and CRM sit with you too.

UK based, flexible location - you don't need to live in London, but you'll spend regular in-person days with the team in London during the first few months, then hybrid. £65,000–£85,000 base + uncapped commission tied to certified-business revenue; potential equity for the right candidate. Full time converting to permanent after a 2-month trial. More senior than the range suggests? Talk to us anyway - for the right person, we'll shape the package to match what you bring.

Qualifications

  • A trackable headline achievement - an exit, a zero-to-seven-figures build, or similar - and the hunger to do it again
  • 5+ years in B2B commercial, growth or marketing leadership; you've carried and hit a revenue number
  • Experience building pipeline through partners, channels or business development; comfortable owning pricing, negotiation and closing
  • Genuine strength across both selling and marketing — as happy closing a partner as shaping a campaign
  • Demonstrable day-to-day use of AI tools across research, outreach, content and analysis
  • Excellent communicator, happy to be a commercial face of the company alongside the founder
  • Hands-on, low-ego, comfortable with start-up pace and ambiguity
  • Built environment, proptech or certification experience is a plus

To apply: email your CV and a short note (why us, what is your first ever sales story, how you use AI) to careers@sownd.co.uk. No recruiters, please.
