About the Company

The Role

A newly created FP&A role, supporting an exceptional Head of FP&A, leading on financial analysis, data integrity, and business performance insight. This role requires someone commercially astute and analytical, capable of turning complex data into actionable insight, building models that shape decisions, and supporting high‑growth planning initiatives. You’ll play a key part in preparing the business for its next stage of growth and eventual exit.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self‑starter, looking to take ownership in a dynamic business. Analytical rigour and interpersonal skills to work with and challenge various senior members of the business through data insights and financial/data‑led assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of FP&A to deliver budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning and performance reporting.
  • Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and models to provide real‑time visibility of performance.
  • Cleanse, reconcile, and structure financial data to enable robust analysis and decision‑making.
  • Develop and track KPIs across key business areas, ensuring actionable insight is shared on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Partner with the Head of FP&A and SLT to analyse growth opportunities, investment cases and bespoke internal projects.
  • Oversee and improve data quality, structure, and consistency to enable robust financial insight.
  • Support performance reviews and investor reporting for investors.
  • Mentor junior finance team members and embed strong analytical discipline across the function.

Key Requirements

  • ACA Qualified accountant, ideally Top 10 trained with corporate finance, FP&A or commercial finance experience.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills with ability to simplify complex concepts to drive decision making.
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools (Power BI would be beneficial).
  • Comfortable working with incomplete data sets and improving data accuracy.
  • Experience in a private equity–backed or high‑growth environment is highly advantageous.
  • Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to operate autonomously in a lean structure.
  • Excellent communication skills and commercial curiosity with resilience to challenge and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Results driven, tenacious, self‑starting and comfortable operating with ambiguity and at pace.
