The Work You'll Do

  • Drive the growth and retention of our client base by managing contract reviews and identifying opportunities for clients to expand their use of Sovos compliance solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales engagement plans, ensuring clients receive maximum value while supporting their compliance needs.
  • Review and assess client contracts to identify opportunities for increased adoption of Sovos products and services.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales engagement strategy, including prospecting and customer‑centric sales process management.
  • Grow and manage a balanced pipeline across your assigned territory, consistently achieving business growth and revenue targets.
  • Deliver profitable new agreements and accurately forecast performance within your territory.
  • Build and maintain a track record of consistent performance and accountability, managing complex agreements in large enterprises.
  • Provide accurate and detailed sales data using Salesforce.com.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to accelerate deal closure and share best practices.
  • Represent Sovos at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows, acting as a thought leader and trusted advisor.

What We Need From You

  • Proven experience in account management and quota‑carrying sales, with a preference for business‑to‑business and SaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding annual sales quotas and growing a book of business.
  • Strong ability to present value‑based, consultative agreements by understanding client needs and shaping long‑term relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex negotiations and challenging conversations.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated team player with a commitment to personal development and continuous learning.
  • Skilled in using technology, including phone systems and CRM software, to fulfil work requirements.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) for client meetings and Sovos events.
  • Ability to pass background and drug checks as required by client contractual obligations.
