We are currently looking for a Window and Door Installer to join Sovini Property Services at The Sovini Group. This position is a permanent opportunity. As a Window and Door Installer, you will be expected to:
- Install new windows and doors in occupied properties.
- Provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the Operations Team, creating an enjoyable working environment for colleagues, both trade and office staff.
To be successful as a Window and Door Installer, the skills you will need include:
- Experience working in repairs and maintenance in housing services.
- Experience of working in a building environment installing windows and doors in occupied homes and communal areas.
- A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practice, i.e. Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with homeowners, external agencies and office-based colleagues.
- Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of your time.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service to all customers.
- Able to form and maintain good working relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- Skilled and capable of working at height surveying and installing windows and doors, including all making good to a high standard.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
Experience or knowledge of the following would be advantageous but not essential:
- Qualified to a minimum level of City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (level 3) in Joinery.
- Certass M.T.C card.
- Fenestration installation Level 3.
- PASMA mobile access tower.
- Familiar with PDA and other electronic devices.
- Good numeracy and literacy.
