We are currently looking for a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join Sovini Property Services, part of The Sovini Group. As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be expected to:

  • Carry out grounds maintenance works to domestic and communal grassed areas which Sovini Property Services manage.
  • Duties will include grass cutting, hedge trimming, strimming, pruning and bed work.
  • Assist in the monitoring and managing of any sub-contractors used.
  • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of all plant and machinery where possible.
  • Adhere to contract programmes and ensure target times are achieved.
  • Provide regular updates on progress to works completed to management staff.
  • Commit to equality and diversity and to promote non-discriminatory practices in all aspects of work undertaken.

To be successful in a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader role, the skills you will need:

  • Level 2 qualification in Horticulture.
  • Full, clean driving license preferably with category BE allowing you to tow a trailer.
  • Commitment to customer care and the provision of a high-quality service.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
