We are currently looking for a Plasterer Apprentice to join Sovini Property Services, part of The Sovini Group. Are you a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, keen to learn and grow? This position is a Fixed Term Contract for 2 years with the opportunity to progress into a 6-month Improver at the end of the apprenticeship.
What You’ll Do:- Assist experienced Plasterers with various tasks, including mixing, applying, and finishing plaster, following instructions and guidance to achieve high-quality work.
- Learn and develop skills in plastering techniques, including wet and dry lining, finishing, and jointing while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Gain the skills to work efficiently and safely to meet deadlines and project requirements.
- Attend college as required to obtain the practical skills and any associated qualifications to demonstrate competence in the trade to the required level and attend regular meetings with SPS mentors/supervisors to discuss progress, goals, and any challenges.
- Provide a high standard of service to all customers whilst complying with all relevant risk assessments and method statements.
- Positively promote and demonstrate the values required by the business.

- Competitive salary £15,747.18
- 40-hour work week (Monday-Friday)

- Sovini Property Services will fund the cost of a theory and driving test as outlined on Driving test costs - GOV.UK (first attempt only).
- Half days leave for an individual to take their first theory & practical test.
- Bonus - An individual incentive of £200 will be paid to every apprentice who achieves their targets (conduct, attendance, punctuality, attitude and behaviour and qualification requirements)
- Apprentices can be provided with a Merseyrail Apprentice Travel Card if they use public transport to attend their place of work or college/training campus.
- Monthly Tool Allowance - £17.50 per month
