We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Class 1 (C+E) Night Driver based in Skelmersdale. This is a consistent night role combining local trailer shunting duties with a scheduled trunk run to a pallet network hub on every shift. Other driving duties as per the business needs.
This position would suit an experienced driver who is confident working independently during night hours and committed to delivering high standards of safety and service.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting local trailer shunts between yards and customer sites in the Skelmersdale area
- Completing a nightly trunk run to a pallet network hub, ensuring timely and secure deliveries
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks in line with company and DVSA regulations
- Ensuring loads are secured correctly and paperwork is completed accurately
- Maintaining regular communication with the transport office
