We are looking for an Anti Social Behaviour Officer to join our Housing Team in Devon, contributing to a safe and inclusive community for our customers. In this busy role you will work alongside housing management colleagues to tackle all forms of hate crime, nuisance and anti‑social behaviour. You will manage your own caseload and build effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors, making a big difference to people’s lives within an experienced, supportive team.
The role is hybrid, working from home, the Exeter office and out with customers. It is permanent and full‑time. A full UK driving licence and access to a private car are required, as the role involves visiting customers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of anti‑social behaviour related housing management services, or transferable skills from a similar customer‑facing role
- Experience dealing with challenging behaviour and resolving conflict
- Strong communication skills with experience working with customers in a demanding environment
- Self‑motivated, highly organised and able to work independently
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies
