Job Summary
Salary: £35,265.00 – £38,234.00 per year. Location: Southampton locality. This role is for an experienced/qualified Carpenter Multi to join the Property Team. The position includes a company van and fuel card for business travel.
Responsibilities
- Carry out all forms of carpentry repairs as part of the Repairs Team, providing 1st and 2nd fix solutions.
- Install windows, doors and door frames – both internal and external.
- Service and install UPVC, perform locksmithing and gain entry via lock snapping, drilling and picking.
- Handle all types of fencing, posts, feather edge, chain link and panels.
- Fit kitchens, build kitchen structures and undertake minor joinery work.
- Perform basic plumbing, plastering, tiling, decorating and other general maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within the residential/housing sector.
- Minimum NVQ level2 qualification or a proven track record of at least5years in carpentry.
- Strong health and safety mindset and knowledge of best practices.
- Team‑oriented and enjoys working collaboratively.
- Full and current driving licence with a minimum of1year of experience, able to drive and take home a company van.
- Full‑time commitment: 40hours per week, with additional earnings available through call‑out and overtime.
