We have an opportunity for an Apprentice Carpenter to join us at SNG. You will be part of our team working across Southampton, with an office base in Newbury. The salary starts from £16,950 depending on your age and experience.

The Apprenticeship

You will become part of our trade team within the SNG Customer Directorate. As an apprentice you will attend college to complete a Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery and work to develop the skills to become part of our qualified workforce. You will work alongside our highly skilled mentors who will reinforce your studies. As a Carpenter apprentice within SNG you will assist Carpenters day‑to‑day in carrying out a range of repairs, maintenance and installation works in our customers' homes. Becoming an apprentice at SNG can give you the opportunity for a career within a strong, successful and diverse organisation.

Qualifications and Details

To complete the Level 2 course you should ideally have, or be working towards, Maths and English GCSE. Applications are accepted until midnight on the 23rd June 2026. If invited to our assessment days we will let you know by Tuesday 14th July. The assessment day will take place on the 20th July; please ensure you are available.
