We have an opportunity for a Senior Technician – Electrical to join our Workplace Team in Basingstoke.
You\’ll be based in our Basingstoke office and travelling between our other SNG sites when needed.
The starting salary is £35,000 – £42,500 depending on your experience.
The Role:
As a Senior Technician – Electrical you\’ll oversee and support the Workplace Technicians in the management and maintenance of the SNG workplace estate. You will be the first point of escalation for the Technicians, helping to manage their workload and endure routine maintenance internally and externally of our offices and buildings are completed safely and at a high level.
You\’ll provide technical guidance and provide your subject matter expertise on our electrical works. Performing routine maintenance on our electrical systems, diagnosing and repairing electrical issues and carrying out installs.
You will also support the Workplace Manager in delivering regular training and knowledge sharing and ensuring 3rd part contractors are supervised appropriately.
Experience working as an Electrician, creating and reviewing scopes of work
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or training program in electrical installation, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 (Inspection and Testing)
To be a clear and confident communicator with both colleagues and external contractors
The ability to maintain accurate records and produce reports
Due to the requirement to travel, you must hold a full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 years experience
