We've got an opportunity for a Building Maintenance Officer to join our Keyworker team in Reading. Our specialist keyworker housing offers self-catering accommodation ranging from shared flats for single residents to apartments and houses for couples or families. We provide flexible stays from one night to a year or more.
This role is part-time (25 hours per week), usually worked 10.00am – 3.00pm over 5 days Monday to Friday. We can be flexible with hours.
The Role
As a Building Maintenance Officer you’ll be responsible for basic repairs across our keyworker accommodation in Reading. You’ll need general handyperson experience, basic plumbing and carpentry skills and the ability to understand ‘how it works’! A good level of IT is also essential, as you’ll be checking jobs, answering emails and using our internal system to log and describe repairs.
