We have an opportunity for a Welfare Benefits Advisor to join our Customer Income Team in Bristol. This is a hybrid working role with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

As a Welfare Benefits Advisor, you'll provide our customers with budgeting and welfare benefit advice. This will include:

  • Completing Income and Expenditure statements
  • Giving budgeting advice
  • Benefit & grant applications
  • Signposting for additional support

You'll be working with both internal and external partners including Housing Benefit, Department of Works and Pensions, and independent money, debt or legal advice services.

Experience required:

  • Supporting customers to complete statements and applications
  • Supporting vulnerable customers with kindness and empathy

You'll need to travel in this role, so having a car and full driving licence is essential.
