Apprenticeship Details

As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work within the Customer Directorate's trade team. You will attend college to complete a Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery while gaining practical experience under skilled mentors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist experienced carpenters with repairs, maintenance and installation work in customers' homes.
  • Apply learning from your college coursework to real‑world tasks.
  • Participate in on‑site assessment days scheduled for 23 July (availability required).

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should be working towards or hold Maths and English GCSEs (or equivalent) to enable completion of the Level 2 course.

Applications accepted until midnight on 23rd June 2026. Candidates will be notified by Tuesday 14th July whether they have been invited to the assessment day.
