Salary: £34,345 – £37,238 per year, located in Dorset. Full‑time, 40 hours per week with opportunities for call‑out and overtime at competitive rates.
This role is part of the Property Team within the Responsive Repairs Team, providing domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance across our Dorset portfolio. You will spend a substantial amount of time travelling to properties and will be given a business use van and a fuel card.
Responsibilities
- Repair domestic plumbing installations
- Install replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays and level decks
- Install kitchen sinks
- Install new pipework (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
- Install new sundry items such as taps and ball valves
- Repair sundry items
- Install and repair water mains supplies, heating system pipework and drainage stop taps
- Install and fix domestic appliances such as showers and washing machines
- Install vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or alternative)
- Maintain and renew cold water storage tanks
Qualifications
- Minimum NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or equivalent, or at least 5 years of experience in the core trade
- Experience working in occupied premises with excellent customer‑service skills
- Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices
- Team‑working ability
- Proficiency in using mobile technology (iPad or PDA)
- Current CSCS card desirable
