We’re recruiting an experienced or qualified Plumber to join the Property Team in Basingstoke & North Hampshire. The role involves completing plumbing repairs and maintenance on a schedule, often travelling in company vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Repairs to domestic plumbing installations
  • Installation of replacement sanitary ware, baths, shower trays and associated equipment
  • Installation of kitchen sinks
  • Installation of new pipe work (copper, speed fit, waste, rainwater)
  • Installation of new sundry items such as taps and ball valves
  • Repairs to sundry items
  • Installing and repairing water mains supplies, heating system pipe work and drainage stop taps
  • Installing and fixing domestic appliances such as showers and washing machines
  • Vented and unvented cylinder heads (HWSS qualified or alternative)
  • Cold water storage tank maintenance and renewal

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Plumbing or equivalent, or at least 5 years experience in the core trade
  • Experience working in occupied premises and excellent customer service skills
  • Strong health and safety mindset with knowledge of best practices
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Ability to use mobile technology such as iPad or PDA (essential)
  • Current CSCS card desirable
  • Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year driving experience, and ability to drive a company van

Employment Details

This is a full‑time role, 40 hours per week, with the opportunity to supplement your salary through call‑out and overtime at competitive rates. The company will provide a business use van and a fuel card.
