Are you experienced in writing and delivering customer communications campaigns?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Communications team at Sovereign Network Group (SNG) as Customer Communications and Campaigns Lead on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
This is a part time role, working 30 hours per week β we can be flexible on the days.
You\βll be based from our Basingstoke or Wembley office, combining home and office working. There will be a requirement to travel to the Basingstoke office as needed, as well as some travel required between our offices and external events, so you should have access to transport and be happy to travel.
The Role
You\βll work with our Head of Customer Communications and other colleagues to develop and implement strategic marketing and customer communications campaigns, providing advice and insights to inform the best online and offline communication solutions and experiences.
You\βll also be driving communication campaigns that target audience groups to help them discover, engage and act to help us meet specific business priorities as well as improving customer and stakeholder engagement. Other responsibilities include:
- Taking the lead within the Customer Communications team on the development of existing and new campaign channels, including email, SMS and social media
- Working across the Corporate Affairs and related teams to align customer communications with external and internal communications
- Providing advice and support to colleagues and other business leaders on the effective application of campaign communication, incorporating GDPR/PECR requirements and best practice
- Using data insight to explore and apply innovative ways to manage and tailor campaigns and other projects
- Engaging with stakeholders to develop positive relationships that support SNG\βs business objectives as set out in the Corporate Plan
- Ensuring that any design or creative work is competitively costed, scheduled and briefed into the in-house studio or external agencies and overseeing the delivery of quality work in a timely manner.
- Ensuring measures and controls are in place to determine impact and effectiveness of communications, monitoring regularly and flexing activity/capturing lessons learnt where necessary, and providing regular data reports
What we\βre looking for
You should have previous experience within customer communications or marketing plus campaign experience, with an understanding of GDPR/PECR as it applies to marketing and customer communications. You should also have:
- Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to adapt your tone and write copy/create campaigns designed to generate a response or change in behaviour
- Demonstrable experience of producing engaging customer content and campaigns, with experience of developing customer stories in various formats to demonstrate impact
- Evidence of using data insight and analytics tools to monitor and report on effectiveness of communications campaigns
- Experience of briefing and working with designers and creatives
- A good understanding of MS Office packages, including Word, Excel and Publisher
- Experience of using email communication platforms and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, as well as social media management platforms and tools
- A highly organised and methodical approach to work, with strong attention to detail and comfortable working to deadlines
