We\’re pleased to have a Part Time opportunity for a Caretaker to join the team in Swindon, working 15 hours per week – Monday & Friday.
The starting salary will be £9,930 – £10,540 (£24,493 – £26,000 full time equivalent) depending on experience.
As a Caretaker you\’ll provide a caretaking and cleaning service across our Walter Close scheme in Swindon. You may also need to cover other local sites on occasion so a driving licence is essential.
What you\’ll do:
- Internal cleaning within communal areas
- Keeping stair wells clean and tidy
- Checking on bin areas and ensure these are kept clean and tidy
- Manage storage area
- Answer enquiries on estate matters from tenants and prospective tenants and refer to the
relevant Housing Officer where appropriate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience within a similar role with the general public
- Able to demonstrate a high level of customer care
- The ability and knowledge to carry out cleaning works using the appropriate equipment
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, prioritise tasks and co-operate with colleagues
- A willingness to undertake training as identified.
