About the Role

As a Rehousing Support Officer, you'll be at the forefront of customer engagement, helping people through one of life's biggest transitions—moving home. From the first conversation to settling into a new home, you'll make sure every step is smooth, supportive, and respectful. You’ll support customers whose homes are being redeveloped or sold as part of SNG's strategic asset management plan, improving the quality of our housing, making homes easier to maintain and more energy-efficient—ultimately creating better places to live for our customers. You’ll take difficult situations and turn them around, overcoming barriers and obstacles to achieve positive results. Your work will improve social value and actively bring our strategy to life for our customers. You'll be providing the best customer service possible and getting involved in shaping how we do things.

What We're Looking For

  • A customer-first approach, with experience in delivering exceptional service
  • Excellent communicator—able to explain, reassure, and collaborate
  • A commitment to working together with colleagues and external partners
  • Strong organisational and IT skills
  • A housing background is helpful—but not a must
  • Happy to travel, you'll be supporting our customers in Dorset, BCP and the Isle of Wight
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle
