This role will oversee responsive and minor works following fire related cyclical inspection across the Sovereign Network Group portfolio under the instruction of the Contracts Manager – Fire and Security. You will be supporting with the issuing, scoping, monitoring and completion evidence of relevant works and contractor performance throughout the delivery cycle, ensuring all Customer (regulatory and legislative) obligations are met.

Working with subcontractors will also be a part of this role, to ensure that regular meetings are held, inspections including auditing the quality of works is completed, and that all health and safety obligations are met.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, statutory obligations, and building compliance standards.
  • Experience in contractor management and auditing works for compliance.
  • Ability to scope, monitor, and validate fire risk actions and minor works.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages and compliance systems.
  • Capable of contributing to financial and compliance forecasts to ensure effective budget and regulatory management.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of project management principles to support delivery of responsive works.
  • Attained or working towards a Level 3 Fire certification or Membership of an accredited body such as IFE/IFSM, desirable.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in fire safety or building compliance or willing to work towards.
