This position is for a self-disciplined, motivated, professional person with experience of estimating
in commercial fit out and construction. We are a commercial refurbishment and construction specialist firm based in the South East. You will be part of a small team, working alongside office staff and regularly communicating with those on site. We are focused on the commercial interiors industry & commercial construction.
Details:
- Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Thurs, 8am - 4.30pm Friday
- Full Time
- In office/ with occasional site visits
Requirements:
- A good general knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Experience of preparing specifications and accurate estimates
- Ability to understand construction drawings and analyse material requirements
- Detail-oriented with good communication skills
- Skilled at Word, Excel and AutoCAD
- Ability to build rapport with clients and suppliers and support business development
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Purchase materials with good buying sense, for on-time site deliveries
- Understand the Health & Safety requirements of a construction site and be able to produce the associated documentation for CDM Regulations
- Understand construction queries from site workers and resolve in a skilled and professional manner
- Must have a clean, full drivers licence
